Susan Hale
Susan Hale is a Sergeant First Class (retired), Paratrooper, Combat Veteran with three deployments as Military Police and Signals Intelligence Analyst, and a Doctoral candidate and Master of Acupuncture specializing in personal resilience and purposeful living. Her background spans 25 years of honorable military service, where she excelled as a program manager in DoD education, security for international dignitaries, resilience and personnel training.
While the military environment is often defined by intensity and conflict, Susan balances this operational background with her work as a formerly Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist to hone and convey human pattern recognition with thoughtful high-performance solutions. Her focus remains on helping individuals accel in their work and lives in a way that unblocks productivity, reduce stress, and promotes applied cross domaine critical thinking skills and positive relationships.
Navigating High-Conflict Spaces
Susan has faced systemic challenges and judgment within high-conflict environments—from managing emergency responses as a Senior Desk Sergeant, mentoring and training military leaders, to inter-organization solutions in combat and peace time environments. Rather than becoming hardened by these environments, she learned how to stay clear, functional, and grounded. She bridges high-stress operations with a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and genuine human care.
At Star and Stream, Susan uses her clinical and operational experience to teach develop and teach Credibility Dynamics, Escalation Intelligence, and Resilience. She helps people learn how to thrive in moderate to intense environments, achieve their goals, and maintain a thoughtful, steady and purposeful focus in their professional and personal lives.
